Hey all.. so the IVA-d310 is in..

Here's what I have [taken out from previous car]..

JL Evolution XR650 CSi 2 Way Components [6.5"]
JL Evolution TR650 CXi Coaxials [6.5"]

JL 500/1 and 300/4 and TWO 10W3V2 Subs

My question:

Are the comps and coaxials a direct fit or will any modification be required ?

I'm looking to replace atleast the front OEM speakers with the Comps and doing ONE Sub 10W6 Sub with the JL 500/1 in a custom box...

I am putting the same system (except I have the W200 HU) into my 01 TL. You will have to build spacer rings for the 6 1/2" woofers. Crossovers will fit towards the back end of each door with a simple bracket. Tweeters can go in front of the door handle (recessed) or surface on the sail trim. Hope this helps...let me know if your getting rid of any of your equipment.

6.5" inch speakers are factory in all four doors. But... 6.5's do not fit so well in the rear. Even with spacers. I'd go for 5.25" in the rear.

Most 6.5" speakers not only need spacer rings but also require you to cut the hole in the metal to a larger diameter.
