Can a Pioneer DEH 6400 be installed and still keep the storage bin underneath? Crutchfiled says it requires an install kit which would eliminate the storage bin.

 

Anyone have comments or suggestions?

 

I have a Pioneer 7300 and i made some custom brackets so that i could keep the storage bin

 

I have the pioneer 8000 and it fits fine. As long as it is a single din unit it should be ok. I just used tin snips to cut a little slot in the sleve that holds the reciever in to hang the little arm things from. It may be a little ghetto but you can't tell by looking.
