2nd gen. tl mid bass in the doors

does anybody know if its possible to put midbass drivers like the kicker ssmb8's in the tl doors.

I've put Kicker 6" midbass drivers in the doors before. They sounded like poop. I would assume that 8" woofers would sound even worse. But it is possible.
