i bought a TL fog light switch to put into my CL
it obviously did not come with a wiring diagram. i am trying to hook it up to a 05 accord fog light kit, so basically i only found diagrams that would help me wire the switch if i had the plug from a tl also..

im jsut all confused :/ i just want to use the oem button with accord fogs...

can anyone help me identify the pins on the switch??? and also on the accord fog light kit???

One should be ground which is usually black or white (forgot since it's been a while since I added the fog switch to my CL) and 2 more should be for the positive. When you push the button in, the circuit completes between those 2 wires. There maybe 1 or 2 more and that is for the light on the switch.
The best thing to do is use a voltmeter to help you.
If you need more help with the wire colors, I can take a picture for you or get the exact colors for you next time. Just let me know.

 

i dont have the wires....or id be able to figure it out.....if you can take a pic of what color wire goes where, then i can wire it up on my own...........

if its possible to take a pic of what wire goes where and after that i think i remember seeing what color wire represents what online somewhere

Well I use my fog switch to switch on my amp. So the colors maybe different but the color wires from the switch will be the same. You can just interpret the wires for your own use. There should be a fog switch wiring diagram on here.

A quick search found me this:
Pin 1 = ground
Pin 2 = common
Pin 3 = 12v
Pin 4 = 12v switched
Pin 5 = ground
