2006 TSX NAVI newbie question

Hello,

Someone told me that with the new 2006 Navi, you could say the entire address - e.g. 1200 Wilshire BLVD, Springfield and it would be able to get the address. From what I've heard, there was absolutely no manual input required. I know the new TL does not have that feature. You still have to type in the street address. I thought I'd find out if it was possible on the new TSX or not.

Thanks

The process is not as smooth as you might think, but you can indeed do it. You do it in parts, so the best way to do it manuver through the nav menus to the point where it wants you to say the city. You press the voice command button on the steering wheel and say 'Springfield', then it will put up a list of cities that it thinks you said. For me it's always been right on and the first one on the list is the one I want. Then you have to confirm your choice by either touching the selection on the screen or hitting the voice command again and saying the number. Then you need to say the street, so 'Wilshire' and confirm. Then the number you can say 'one','two','zero','zero'.
