Exclamation 2005 tsx amp

i am looking to replace the rear deck speakers with alpine 6x9 type s. im just wondering what the output is for the stock amp. i want to replace thosebecause when i have the bass turned up and volumve above 28 the rear decks start to pop like they cant handle it? help

Theres really no way of measuring the output power on a factory amp but you can definitely swap the speakers but you may hear a drop in volume because of the structure of the speaker is alot different than the cheap paper cone speakers they provide our cars with

@12V: approximately 18WRMS and maybe 36 peak @ 4 ohms.

@14.1V: approximately 25WRMS and maybe 50 peak @ 4 ohms

This amp is not 2 ohm stable!
