2005 Acura TL Nav/Stereo question
I recently purchased a 2005 Acura TL. The navigation display was broken when I bought it. The stereo also does not work. I was told by a guy at a parts store that I would not be able to use the stereo without replacing the nav display. But I really don't want to spend the money to replace the nav display. Is there any way to get the stereo to work without replacing the display?

I got it working. Got the reset code last night, entered it a bunch of times but all it did was beep twice and then nothing. Today I tried to eject my nav disc but nothing came out. After that I tried the reset code again, one long beep and then my radio came on lol. Cd player works as well. Just can't see what station I am tuning to but I have Spotify and I'm gonna get a tape decided adapter soon.

Good job on figuring it out. Instead of looking for a new display, maybe look at the Nexus Mod or something. Put that in instead and boom, you're covered and def. won't be as much as a new display.

I can get a replacement display for about $150. I read a thread on the Nexus mod and looks like the tablet and parts needed cost about 140 so not really worth it to save a few bucks .besides that, I don't care if there's a working display or not. All I ever cared about was the stereo working. With Spotify I can listen to anything I want. I got a cassette adapter at Walmart for $5 and it works fine so I don't need to do anything else.
