2004 aCURA TL in another car!!
2004 Acura TL Navi put in another car
alot of people have veiwed this Thread but no-one has replied? I need help,, I wrecked my 2004 Acura TL, well before they towed it away I took out the navigation screen, DVD reader, and the GPS antenna, pig tails eveything needed to make this Navigation system work in another car,,I have everything working and I am at the point where you press the touch screen anti theft code which I have the sticker in my owners manual, well I cant get the touch screen part of the navigation to work,, I checked all possible wires using the original service manual,, since I am not using the original radio there are some wires that are not going to be used,, what could I be doing wrong or not connecting? help me out guys I am putting this in my NSX got the navi pod for it to!! help!! someone on another site asked me if i grounded the screen? the unit is grounded thru the pigtails,, but I will try grounding the metal chassis surrounding the Screen,, but in the service manual for the 04 TL, the only wires that I cant hook up is AUD BUS + and AUD BUS - ? looked it up they go to the radio, I am thinking the radio is acting like a bridge for this hooked them up to themselves and still nothing,, the unit when turned on with the DVD, works like it should,, the title screen saying ACURA NAVIGATION, then it goes to the antitheft code part,, so no touch screen or buttons I cant hit the code,, to go to the next screen where i then would hit OK,, HElp guy/gals, I really want this in My NSX,, I have picks of the wires and unit working sitting on wok bench,, or could I buy a harness to do this? or can anyone out there make me a custom harness/??? as of right now i have 3 wires that i hook up,, ground, ACC, constant Power, for both Screen and dvd units, darn-it im stumped!! let me know any suggetions are welcome!! thanks guys!
