Exclamation 2003 RSX Type-S Bose Stock Radio

Hello! I'm new to this but I REALLY need help! I have a 2003 RSX Type-S with the stock Bose Radio. I do not want to change out the entire radio because I really like it and I have been having trouble finding an aftermarket headunit that I like and that lights up red to match the other interior lights. The issue that I am having is that the Bose system did not come with an AUX port for my ipod/mp3 player. I hate having to burn music on to CD's just to listen to it for my car and I do not get the same sound quality from the transmitters. Does anyone know of a way to get an AUX port Hard wired to this unit? ANY info will really help... I have A LOT of traveling to do this summer and it would be so much easier if i could just plug in my ipod and go!
Thank you!
J.

I had a '04 RSX-S (actually wife's car) and the biggest improvement in sound was made by switching out the speakers. never did use an iPod with it. Maybe Dice Link makes an adapter now.

Check Blitzsafe, icelink I know there's a few others but I'm just drawing a blank this morning..

There is a spot on the back of your radio for a Auxillary input you just need the adapter in order to do so..

I know its old school but it doesn't sound half bad... I use the cassette adapter for my iPod and iPhone. Got it with an iPod charger at Target for less than 20 bucks.

To each their own. The blitzsafe and other adapters are really a simple install and it's permanent plus better sound quality.. But if the cassette adapter works for you no need to change it..

does the blitz or icelink unit allow you to control your ipod through the radio? or would it be the same as if i installed an audiocontrol 4.1 and used the aux in on it?

I know some use/allow steering wheel controls to change songs etc.
