Before anybody freaks out I did a search and couldn't find an answer.

I am looking for replacement front door speakers for the stock one. I have the bose system and the front door speakers are components I guess because I have the little tweeter by the window. Can anybody recoomend some drop in replacements that can handle an amp in the future? Thanks for any and all replies.

 

So nobody with a 03 CL-P has upgraded their door speakers???

The FAQ's didn't help. Anybody else got anything?

 

From the FAQ, you have 6.5" woofers & 1" tweeters. So pick a set of good sounding component speakers in that size.

BUT

You may need an external amp to drive them. Hooking up aftermarket speakers to the stock sound system has had mixed results. Some cars have sounded ok others have not. It has to do with the ohm load of the stock speakers compared to aftermarket.

Avincar used to make some correct ohm replacement speakers that sounded great. Not sure if they still make them. They were not cheap either.
