2002 head Unit into 99TL

Would a 2002 head unit (6 CD changer) fit and be wired with no problems into a 99TL?

Yes, the 2002+ TL 6 Disc CD Indash CD changer HU will fit 99-01. The Latest Gen CL's 6 Disc Indash HU will however not fit in our TL. So make sure you get the right one because they are both simliar.

Thanks for the reply. The search results came up with answers that went back and forth between yes and no.

I believe, and have been known to be wrong, that to change out the 99 TLs deck with the 6-disk changer, you have to have the notepad holder piece that goes above it. When they came out with the 6-disk in-dash changer, it had to be a little higher to accomdate the changer mechanism. To fix that, they replaced the cd holder above the deck with the notepad one, which is a little thinner.

Not accurate, nsxnext. I have a stereo from an '01 CL and it fits the '00 TL space perfectly. My CL radio is for for sale. $150 OBO + shipping.
