I need another remote for my 2001 cl s w/navi. Only got one with my used car purchase. My current one is programed with the #1 seat memory (works fine). Do I have to get a #2 to work with the #2 memory or will a reprogram of any remote change to the #2 setting (I would like to use this feature). I see them on e-bay that look the same. Don't really care about the style (2002). Anybody got one? or any suggestions.
P.S. I have always been a honda owner but am new to this car and really like it so far.

 

you have to get the #2 to set memory 2. Before you bid on ebay, email the seller and ask if it's number 1 or 2.

I have the 01 model and the 02 model. I don't use them since I have the Viper Alarm. I'm sure i have the instructions too to program them to your car. If not I can get it easily from the HELM.

 

I knew you guys would know, I will email you to find out what you have. Is there any way to tell from the ID numbers on the back if it is a #1 or #2?
