2001 Acural TL 3.2 Navigation Software/Firmware Update

I know you can buy new DVD's for the GPS - what about a software/firmware update?

you would probably have to contact alpine for that seeing as how they make the unit....i thought it was done remotely after entering that 'hidden' screen.

Guys who have upgraded their DVD's, please correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe when you put ina new DVD is senses the different version and performs the upgrade.

But as ARN said, it can also be done throught the diagnostic screen. The upgraded firmware would be part of the new DVD.
