I had some work done on my car and the battery was disconnected. Now my radio will not accept code. Does anyone know how to get it to work?

Ppl have reported the radio will accept the code when it cant get a good signal. Crazy but it has worked. Suggest going to an underground parking area like some have or if you can get behind there and disconnect the antenns
