I just bought my second car ever, an Acura. I have the complete Navigation system and the hard drive is in the trunk. I have taken it out and seen it with own eyes. When I start my car up, it says hard drive error, unformatted disc every time. And then it goes to a black screen with stars on it and has a "shutdown" icon in the corner. What does this mean? Is there any way to reformat or fix this hard drive or do I need to get a new one and start clean? Please and thank you for any help.

 

That's rough u might be able to find the hdd on the Internet and burn it on a DVD don know exactly, but if u need to buy another one I have my navi for sale pm me mines the newer model 03 off type s but cars a 99 like urs someone. Broke into my car and stole it so I got it replaced with the newer model but now don need it
