I just purchased a 1999 Acura 3.2 TL and I need the radio code.

I have the serial number...

Honda USA 1-800-999-1009 (Toll Free) friend in this issue give you the free code, I have a 97 acura tl and gave them the code number and got the code without problems

 

Same thing happened to me when i bought my TL. as long as you have the radio serial number you can call your local Acura Dealer tell them the serial number over the phone and they should provide you the radio code. Had my radio working in literally 5 minutes.

 

press and hold 1 and 6 and it will give a set of numbers, then just call the dealer give them that set of numbers and they will give you the code

 

So this will work for 2nd gen right

 

Just try it don't work I think that only work on 04 and up

 

its worked for my 01 cl-s

 

local stereo shop just got it for me - radio removal required to verify radio serial number, then they call and get the number. $30 and you've got the code for next time.

 

If you still got the problem.. just call the dealer they will walk you through it. lots of people are getting ripped off by the dealer saying that they have to hack your stereo or something like that.

in order for the 1 and 6 thing to work

turn the power off
push 1 and 6 at the same time and hold
while holding turn stereo on and it will pop up your number.
