Alright i need to purchase some switchback leds but have some ?'s first. For my 03 tl do i need the load resistors for hyper blink or no? Also which would be better the projector style or the smd style? This is what im looking at getting http://store.ijdmtoy.com/1157-2357-7...157_sku317.htm

 

I just ordered some and was wandering the same thing. Have you figured this out yet? do they just plug in and do their magic or is a load resister required?

 

So yes you do. I ordered the resistor with mine instead of finding out later and tested it and there was a hyper blink. The installation was pretty easy. Mounted the resistor to a medal part of the car since it gets hot and worked perfectly. I ended up getting the projector style which looks pretty good but doesnt give of light from the reflector obviously. Its one way directional. But still like em. Not sure if i have a pic or not
