04 TSX XM commander HELP!

I recently had the XM commander installed in a 04 TSX with Navi and I seem to be getting some noice. I am not sure if it is engine noise or not, but does anyone know how to disable the FM modulater on the Commander. Also will a Ground loop Isolater actually work.? Some people I talk to recommend that. I purchased the RCA inputs for the unit so I am not using the XM modular but just cannot find a way to disable it I am plugging directly into the AUX on the head unit. It is so annoying that I cannot even listen to the XM. I am going to take it where I got it installed but I wanted to do reserach on my own.

Any ideas!?

I also have an XM commander in my '04 and for the longest time I had engine noise too. I finally figured out that the ECU module pumps out rediculous amounts of EMI.

To fix it place the brain module in the trunk or at least as far away as possible from the center console, then run the sound wires straight to where you need them to go doing everything possible to keep them away from the ECU module(it's the metal box under the headunit, behind the small amp.).

I do have a GLI installed also and it makes a little bit better improvment now, but my engine noise is completely gone now that I rewired.

Hope that helps
