03 TL Remote Start - Advice needed for perfect xmas gift!

I think hubby would love a remote start for his 03 TL Type S this xmas...any advice on what unit provides the best value and what install *should* cost, along with possibility of uninstall in case we don't keep the TL? I'm a dummy here, links or other advice would be great.

Thanks for your help!

I'd like to know too. I know best buy had a two for one special that I almost went for. And uncald4 a member here, on his homepage has something about a viper kit...

I'd recommend viper, they have a really good quality product.
And professional installation is something else I recommend, more for warranty purposes than anything

i would go with any DI brand (Viper, Python, Clifford, etc)

def have it professionally installed... but i wouldn't let best buy do their hack jobs... go to a real alarm/car audio shop to do it...

I agree with Kamlung, Do not let best buy install a remote start. I've had mine since 2006 and never had a problem. Some of my friends went to best buy, and even though they pay for breaking stuff, it sucks to be without your car to get stuff fixed.
