Just got an '03 TL-S with Navi and was wondering if there's a way to reset the PIN on the Navi? I'm the second owner and quickly looked through the Navi booklet but couldn't find anything. Did I miss it in there somewhere? Thanks for any help!

do you mean the 2 private address files? supposed to be factory preset at 0000 but I cant get mine to work either- will ask when I drop by the dealer on another matter

Or do you mean the main nav security code? When the battery dies the radio and nav lock down and require their codes

03 often have the codes written inside a fuse box cover in the engine compartment- check the smaller ones for a white sticker with a 4 and 5 digit number
Some owners write the codes on the side of the glovebox door or under the center console pullout- in the fuse covers inside the car--look everywhere

Is the nav working now?

btw- the new version disc is out, and if you register on acura.com they send a discount coupon for $150

Some of the 03 also have an extra recall item - timing belt pulley issue- gets new belt and pulley- you can pay for a water pump and new tensioner pullies etc for a little cash extra
register with acura and find out- you want to know if covered on 7/109 trans warranty- and if the recall oil kit was done- has the trans been replaced already yadyada

Thanks for all the info 01tl4tl! I was referring to the 2 private address files on the navi. I'll also register with acura and will get the new version disc soon.
