03 cl type s 6speed deck install

i heard that if i have stock navi that i wouldnt be able to put in an aftermarket deck is that correct? Any way to bypass that? Because im trying to get the sub out and a mp3 deck thats why.

That is not true. The factory navigation operates completely separate from your audio system. However, the NAVI does send it's audio prompts to the factory deck. So if you replace the facory deck you'll lose the audio prompts from the NAVI. Not a big deal.

From the NAVI prompts? Yes. There are instruction for doing it in the Audio/Video DIY section. But, you would need to change your deck source to AUX1 or AUX2 everytime you want to hear the audio prompts. Kind of a pain in the ars.
