Tommy! If your going to pay that much for a Factory head unit, you should just get a aftermarket one with Mp3 option!!!! I'll call you crazy if you pay more then $200 for that deck. It's not worth it. If you want..wait till I get it, and I'll give it to you for $200! hehe

I dont think the 02 deck fits the 01 anyway, its too deep. Ive had 2 dealers and a lot of people tell me that.

Was it the one on eBay? I remember seeing someone selling it. I say you tell him that it wasn't you that bid.

Cause SERIOUSLY, $400 is WAAAY too much to pay for another factory head unit. I know how you like the stock look. But you can find another one from a junked TL, or I'll just sell you mind for $200 when I get the car this month of early Jan. I'm going to put the headunit I have in the Accord into the TL-S, so I can take it out and send it to you ASAP.

ya he's the dude from O-T.net (gq@fazle.net) he knows it was me cuz im talking to him ------------ he told me the reserve was $450 tho -- so I bid under thinking I could negotiate him down (hell i was willing to pay $300-$325 or so)

But the reserve was lower than what he said -- now he wont budge, if he doesnt I dont focken care -- I'll retract my bid -- the last guy before me bid $200...........

Why not ask some people here? I know quite a few guys have ripped out their Bose systems in favor of much higher quality ones...just ask around...

p.s. - bet you'll get it a lot cheaper too

Damn, I wish the Nissan OEM units were this cheap. I'm trying to replace the OEM double-din *single* CD/tape/radio HU (non-Bose) in my '97 Maxima SE and every place I call quotes me the same price: $1200!! Bend over....

Look on eBay -- I've seen non-Bose on there lots when I was looking for one for my Grandma's Villager (Quest)

Just type NISSAN CD

If u have the single DIN unit in ur car here's the add on 6-Disc

Currently at $99 - No RSV

Currently $125, Buy it now $175

Currently $135, Buy it now $169
From a 2k Max at $76 currently

SHOOSH these are all cheaper than the Acura ones

Yes, I checked there. Unfortunately none are an exact replacement for the 4th generation models. I'm still looking though. Thanks for the info.

400 is actually a pretty good price for that unit

it will fit and work in a 00 but may require modification. I know for a fact that if you have NAV it needs a modification to work with everything, not sure about non-NAV though

Any of those i posted should work -- they all have the same connectors (as long as u are NON BOSE)
unless you are for some reason trying to get the same style as ur 4th gen

I screwed up on the reserve...I told you it was 450 but it was 400, my mistake.....anyway I already explained to you that unless I get 400 out of it, I am gonna keep it..I am sure you can get a better deal somewhere but as of the end of action, you were the highest bidder and you didnt retract ur bid, so you won. Ill work with you and if you dont want it, its fine. I dont think I'll relist.

$400 isn't a bad price for a stock BOSE headunit on a '02 model considering the dealership retails it at around $650.

Do u want me to retract, does that make it easier to relist??
Or should I just leave it?
