01 TL sub
Ive searched a few threads but could not find a consice answer. I want to disconnect my stock subwoofer and put my 12" audiobahn sub in the trunk running of the stock bose amp. I just want to test out if it would be better or not. I really dont want to spend money if this works. Will the amp have enough wattage to power this?
Also, how do i disconnect the rear sub? What wires and where?
Thanks

well, i wasnt going to put the 12" in the same woofer hole as the stock sub. It has its own box. still no? I was thinking about just using the signal from the stock amp and putting a different amp back there.

Ignore the part about the woofer hole, that wasn't directed at you, sorry.
But that's NOT what you said. You wanted to run the woofer with the stock amp.
Putting a new amp back there will work. It's still an audiobahn sub, tho.

i have an 01 tl too--the stock sub amp is run off the bose eq, which does auto loudness and stuff that you really don't want if you're trying to build a decent system. usually with bose you want to replace everything, excepting perhaps the headunit. : )
