'01 Fog Lights - DDM Kit

I have a 2001 cl, and I've seen some pictures with DDM HID Kit on 2003 cls and other ones (it looks amazing). I was wondering if this kit would also work on my 01??

The thing I'm concerned about is the plastic casing in the fog light compartment, and if the bulb gets too hot, I don't want that to melt or anything.

Here is the website I was going to order them from: http://www.ddmtuning.com/Products/DD...ast-35W-or-55W

If it does work, would need to get 35w or 55w??

Any input is appreciated!!!

Will it work? Lights are lights. So, yes they will work. You just need to make sure you get the correct bulb type.

I'd get 35w, especially for your fogs. It even says that on the site...

I just want to make sure that they don't melt the plastic or catch on fire or anything.

And the ones in my car are technically "road lamps" and not fog lights (if there's even a difference).

And I know the ones I have in now are not HID, so would installing the DDM Kit be relatively easy?

Hi All..
I am new to the forum.. And If I am the 1.000.000 th person to ask such a question I am sorry. Still exploring the forum...

Just got a 2001 CL type S with the yellow roadlights installed.
I wanted to put in better bulbs but I was told that replacing the existing ones with more powerful bulbs could cause the plastic housing to melt..
Dont know if it is true, or if I am asking the right question...

Also is it possible to change the lenses to clear one or do I have to get new ones..
Thnx
