[TSX] Help getting through firewall grommit

So i know that on the 5AT tsx there's a grommit to the left of the brake pedel that can be used to run a cable through the firewall (to then run to an amp)

Here's what I see:

That's the rubber grommit I found, but it looks like there's a tube carrying some electrical wires through it. Do I punch a hole next to it somehow?

Any other tips on how I get through this thing? This is my first time doing this.

Sorry, I run through the fender. Directly to the right of the battery and fuse box there is a black trim piece that runs fore and aft along the endge of the engine compartment. If you pull that trim up you can fish a wire under it easily.

Then I APRTIALLY remove the inner fender cover (various kinds of fasteners, the top ones suck, don't pull more than you need to reach in there. TUrn the wheel to the left to clear space.

There is a grommet unused on the driver's kick panel that you can feel from each side of the metal - I pushed it out and put a hole in the middle of it and ran the wire through it and sealed it up.

The hardest part is finding the grommet blind. But it looks way sano.

thanks eldude, i was thinking of that method and decided (after some attempts) that i'mtoo inept to gently and partially remove inner fender covers.

I did get through the grommet that I pictured with a screwdriver. The problem is that the rubber is so thick/stiff that when I pull the screwdriver out that I used to punch through, the rubber looks like it sealed up again. Obviously it didn't, but i can't find the slit i made.

I'm going to the hardware store now to get a drill bit that's as thick/thicker than the 4ga cable, and will use that (and it's sharp tip) to poke through. And i'm hoping to tape the bit to the cable so I can just pull it through.

Ugh.
