Other than PGA, I don't think I've ever seen anyone else begin a post with the word "um" - strange but true. You hear it spoken all the time, but even when it comes to "teh IntrAweB spEaK" I don't think I have ever seen anyone else write the word "um"

You just may be right, Speedy. PGA and Ken talked off-board pretty regularly too if I recall, which might explain the interplay here...
