Real classes don't start until the fall semester, so I haven't really done anything yet. I'm taking chem 130 summer session, but I haven't started that either. Starts this Monday though.

whats up guys. i've been busy.Weds or Thurs night I got called to a nasty fire. it was a double barn fire. we called 13 fire depts and we used about 1.5 million gallons of water. had about 100-125 firefighters on the scene. levelled the barns. someone put hay up when it was a little too wet. I was on the scene about 14 hours.
now what i've been up to. I just got back from lovely Asheville,NC. my g/f lives down there some of the time. we didn't spend a lot time down there cause she worked Friday and Saturday. we went and saw "Cars" friday night. we were gonna see Pirates of the Carribean 2 but it was sold out.
I got back about 3:30 this morning so i've only been home 13 hours.
Dad and mom took my digital camera to Nashville,TN. they left the day after i did for TN.
Then I left Friday morning and I got a call IN Tennesee from my boss saying they're laying off my whole shift. I guess International(aka Navistar) REALLY struggling. As of Friday their stock hit a 52 week low. (i looked in Friday's USA Today) so in the morning i gotta go back out job hunting or talk dad into letting me "take over the farm"
Then this morning
now if y'all gonna ban me for not post pics. so be it. but keep in mind i've been on this board a damn long time. about 5 years. i tipped you guys off when Acura was announcing the recalling a transmission on CL and TL(last gen).
if any of y'all wanna talk to me AOL IM my user name firegod816.
now whoever pretended to be my dad. My dad a higher ranking officer than a Captain. he's a chief. it goes Lt, then Captain then assiant chief, then chief.
that's at a smaller dept. there's more ranks at larger depts.
assiant chiefs and chiefs get white helmets. all other firefighters and lower officers get red helmets.
plus unless your short staffed commanding officers(like assiant chiefs and chiefs) get to ride up front on the passenger side of the engine. usually the rescue and attack crew rides in the back.
i got my CDLs so i can drive or ride in the back.
so if this is my last post. I wish you guys best of luck. i hope your Acuras last many 100's of k of miles. I wish you guys health and happiness.
and remember my favorite phrase: THE HARDER YOU WORK THE LUCKIER YOU GET.

Dude, not for nothing, but why do you always give some long winded story about some bs fire you were at, or a rank structure no one cares about. You just said you were gonna talk to your dad about "taking over the farm". So that means you don't own it.
All we're saying is cut it with the BS stories, and just be cool. You wouldn't be getting banned, if you weren't always droping these exagerated lies. No one cares what you own, what you ride, or how much water it takes to put out a fire. There has to be a ton of firefighters on here, they don't go telling the others the ins and outs of the job. If someone works in corprate, you think the rest of us want an explaination of a TPS report?

it was me bitches.
now the reason i haven't posted in the last couple hours is due to watching the NASCAR race at Chicago. It turned out to be a good race.
Gordon bumped Kenseth with a few laps to go when the #17 car was leading. they had like 7 to go. #17 car went into a spin. went back to like 8th or 9th. if the #24 car was smart he had the car (i believe) to win it without bumping him. he should have laid back for a couple laps and be ready to take advantage of any "mess ups." races aren't always won by the fastest cars. it's sometimes being in the right place at the right time.
now NASCAR gonna probably do an investigation if Gordon meant to spin the #17 car. because if you watched the Bristol race earlier this year the #17 car spun the #24 car. and the #17 car went on for the win. HOWEVER Gordon was pissed after the race and got into a shoveing match after that race. which on probation right now for. so that will be interesting to see how that "pans out."
