Search for users....
I like using the Members page (https://acurazine.com/forums/memberlist.php) when I need to find someone that I need to send a message to.
But with the number of registered members we have, it can be very difficult looking for that one member you need to contact.
Perhaps if we add a "filter" to the members page where you can type a part of or the full name of the member's username you are looking for to narrow the list of members?
Or better yet, within the Search page (https://acurazine.com/forums/search.php) allow people to search for members?

agree with first post
even though I've only used the member directory a couple times it is a pita to find a certin member because of the volume of the members here.
I actually won't use it because of this reason.
I find myself going threw mails,my posts, threads to find what is needed.

Always wanted to be able to search by the user's location.
Use case: User moves to Dallas and wants to find other members in the DFW area. Instead of posting they can do a simple search by location.
And yes I realize we have the regional forums.
Biggest issue would be what a user enters in their location.

There's a "Search" box at the end of the top row where you can enter the name you are looking for and if it is a registered name it will bring it up and you can click on it and go to the profile.
Isn't this what you are asking for?
You can also open your "Send a Message" and start typing the user name and it gives you names as you type, narrowing it down as you type more letters/characters. Then you can PM that member or use the name to go to their profile.
