I wish when you click an avi, it would take you to the person's pix
I always see these sweet cars in people's avi's, and click on the photo, expecting to view an album of that user, but I am taken to their profile, which usually does not share much info at all, and no pictures whatsoever. Hell, most of the time, they don't even "have a car in their garage".

You also won't be able to use the private message system, edit your userprofile, or add photos to an album right away either. As soon as you have accrued 5 posts and have been a member for 15 days

Avatars have a max size of 175 x 175 IIRC. So even if you clicked on the avatar expecting to see a larger version of it, it doesn't exist.
As far as wanting to see more pics of member's cars, it's all up to the user if they wish to create a car in their garage and add details about their car including pictures. The links to get to the cars in their garage is included just below their avatar, or you can click the "Albums" link at the top of the page, or like you did, click on their avatar to get to their profile page and on the far right, if they added a car to their garage it will be listed there too.
I agree, it would be nice if more members added details about their cars to their garage, but many either do not because 1) they have nothing to show because they aren't into modding but enjoy talking about cars 2) don't wish to share pictures of their car for whatever reason or 3) we can't force people to share pictures of their cars.
