change my avatar but get a blank screen

Cant change my avatar for some reason. I put the link/URL/etc into the box and hit save changes. It lets me do all that but the avatar just shows up as a blank space?

the post whores ran into this problem this morning.
A mod even tried changing it for the individual who ran into the white screen. No Go.

it seems to be a script error.

Thanks for the info.

Changing it from the Admin panel isn't a true test as we want to make sure that the members are able to successfully change it themselves.

Understood.... To help the process I logged out to reset my account and now I can see it here on the home screen:

But not on the posts:

I reset that avatar twice and could see the change, so the process is working its just not showing up in the threads.

Thanks for the info Bear. Did some research and found that the URL for Alex's avatar in the regions area is the following, which works just fine:

Whereas in posts like those in here and ramblings, the URL is the following which provides a blank image:

The Avi's are also showing up in Visitor Messages and in the Mini Statistics on the profiles if that helps as well.

Just so I understand the issue correctly, you upload the avatar, the site states it was successful, but when viewed, the avatar is blank, correct?

Today I changed mine back to an old avatar I used to use (within the requirements) and I also now have a blank screen where my avatar should be.
