Are any of you guys interested in a set of ebony floor mats that came out of my TL-S? I'm not sure if the TL and CL mats are the same, but I'll give them to whoever wants them. They are in excellent condition. Let me know and I'll bring em with.

I have some very, very bad news . As of two days ago (mon) my tranny was starting to give me some slippage. First gear would jerk violently into second gear. The car definitely felt weak and did not shift correctly. I was thinking it may have been some bad gas or something because sport shift worked fine and if I was driving slowly, it shifted fine. Then on Tuesday, as I was going to Trader Joe's on a local street, as the light turned green and I stepped on the gas, the car violently switched from first gear to second gear chipping my wheel and then all of a sudden, my VSA light, check engine light, excalamition light all turned on and the D5 was blinking at me. That was when I realized, I no longer had first gear because everytime at a light on the way home, when I tried to accelerate, the car was very weak until I got to closer to 40 mph and it didn't feel like the car shifted gears at all. Since then, it's been sitting in my garage. I was hoping to be able to get it towed to the dealer, but that would have taken atleast two weeks to have the tranny replaced. So that was when we considered redryder83's TL. Unfortunately because he's been working on projects on his car, it was mostly apart including the headlights. I'm sorry...but we both will not be making to this year's WestCoast Meet

 

did rolie tell you that i said to unplug the battery for ten minutes, plug it back in, let it run for 10 minutes, then test drive?

you "can" just take your car to the dealer and get a CL rental
that way you don't have to miss the meet

personally, i'd take any option i could to not miss out on something like this

As far as taking it to the dealer, I need to raise my height, it's too low to be towed onto a flat bed. And I'm so depressed over it, I don't even want to think about her right now, let alone even touch her. I'll get it done soon, but I'm still mad...

I'm really sorry people...I can't believe what kind of luck this is to have my tranny go out a few days before the meet!!!!

Yes, again, this meet was great!!! It was good seeing all the peeps from last year as well as the new faces! I look forward to doing this again. It's good to have a bunch of people who just have a love for cars.. Regardless of what kind of car they drive.

 

It's nice meeting you all!! Perhaps if we want to meet in the next six month, we could do it in Cali, since it probably be dryer down there during spring time. Then in Sept, you guys can make a trip up to Portland for some nice road racing at PIR.

Can't wait to do it again soon!!
