It's back! The best meet in the D.C. area will be April 26th this year. We had an AWESOME turnout from AcuraZine last year and we're gonna have a better turnout this year.

Details for where we're going to meet up before so we can roll in together are at the bottom of this post. There are also pics from last year's meet in case you missed it.





2009 University of Maryland Spring Meet
hosted by College Park Tuning

We will be asking for 1(or more) non-perishable food item per person as they enter the lot. If you forget to bring an item or prefer not to, we will collect a $1 donation on your way into the lot. All the donations collected from admission, food sales and the 50/50 raffle are going to be donated to Martha’s Table (http://www.marthastable.org).

Rally Spot Info

Last year's rally spot was okay, but this year I've got a much better spot for us and we're going to leave earlier this year so we get good spots at the show.

We're going to meet at the Maryland Fire and Rescue Institute,
4500 Paint Branch Parkway
College Park, MD 20742

This way, when we're ready to go we can just make a right and drive straight to the meet, nice and easy, and we shouldn't get yelled at by Ikea staff like last year for being in their lot.

I plan to leave at 11:00 a.m. Leave for our meeting spot early, because it's inevitable that people will hit traffic and end up showing late. We left a bit late last year, and getting there early means we'll get close spots and lots of pictures taken of our cars. It says the meet starts at noon, but people arrive there as early as 8 a.m. so 11 isn't bad.
