Toronto Lexus BMW Mercedes Acura owners meet May 28th

the first will be may 28th in Mississauga 4pm Krispey Kreme parking lot
Mavis and Brittania just south of the hwy 401.

See you guys there , i will plan the others dates as they become closer

I am now turning this event into a Lexus,BMW and Mercedes meet for a total luxury event.

Sounds like a great meet ... but a little ahead of the first meet of the year (Apr 9/05). I'll keep this date open in my head ... I'm glad it's on the west side of GTA (ie closer to Windsor!) LOL

I just realized ... the Krispy Kreme parking lot?! That's place is gonna be PACKED with not only donut lovers but car enthusiasts. It's gonna get ugly ... but at least it's on my side of Toronto ... (ie a lot closer to Windsor). LOL.

It's really close to Toronto. About a 4 hour drive from Windsor.

That time estimate is only if you actually go 100km/h on the 401. From Windsor, the Krispy Kreme (aka Mavis exit of the 401) would take you a little over 3 hrs if you go about 130km/h (80mph). Very doable. However, from Roseville -- due to unpredictable border traffic, I would budget 4 hrs from your house.

I think Mississauga is like 30-40 min west of Toronto. I made it from Toronto to my driveway in 3 hours 15 min. So realistically, it shouldn't take you 4 hours to drive there.

Thanks for the info- I'm gonna try and get that Friday off, my fiancee has never been to Canada (she's from Ohio!), maybe take her to Toronto after the meet.

I don't think I have to explain to Derrick that I don't drive slow.

I had never driven on 402 before, and I wasn't about to speed in an unfamiliar setting and risk getting a ticket not to mention getting my 450-dollar radar detector taken away.

We'll see how "slow" I drive on the track at Kart2Kart.

As for this meet, I won't be able to make it, because I'll be attending an event in Iowa for the entire weekend. But I'm looking forward to seeing all of you at the upcoming Michigan/Ontario meet in Shelby Township, MI (about 20 minutes away from the Windsor/Detroit border).
