Hey Phipark, are you a member of the Y in Kirkwood? I work there. I'm not ashamed to tell people that. LOL. If you're not doing anything, come by tonight, and ask for Chris.

paz840, my girlfriend works at st. lukes. She's in the pharm tech area. she's working late night tonight.

No, I sadly do not have a system in my TL right now. Funds are low. The stock Bose system does a sufficient job right now, but I do happen to have a 15 sitting in my living room, waiting for a box, a new amp, and a new dash unit..... I'd really want my exterior and cosmetics junk to get done first though.

alright, well I gotta get to work.

txt me anytime guys. get the # before it gets deleted!!! 314-452-2760

Chesterfield Valley wouldn't be a bad place to meet either. Very huge parking lots that could fit numerous cars, also so many places to eat there. Just a fyi.

Well what do you guys think? Would Chesterfield valley be better with all the food choices and parking lots, or stick with the original plan? Also, I have a guy I know locally with a CL-S that says he will come and possibly bring his frind with a CL. I will also try to get a guy in my neighborhood with a modded NSX to come along too.

I'm not too familiar with chesterfield, but i'd meet there, since it's not that big of a drive. I'm in high ridge. Yeah, I'm out there, and no I'm not a hoosier, or country bumpkin like a lot of the (sorry if I offend anyone) nascar enthusiasts with their monte carlo's and that stupid number crap.....

either way, i could make a drive to st peters too, but that's a good hour away.... I think chesterfield, or even frontenac would be a good place.... Shoot, why not just at west county mall? it's right off 270, nobody could miss it.

I vote for Chesterfield. West County Mall would be nice too, but probably PACKED on any weekend day.

The Valley would be better for no problem with police for being there. West County Mall might have alil more problem with security there cause they are asses, and would probably make us all leave happended before. Plus its alittle more busier up there on the weekends making it hard to find somewhere not to populated there. Valley has enourmous open parking lots all over.

Even though I most likely can't make it, I'd suggest the valley too. There's a shit ton of parking down by Target. West County Mall shouldn't even be an option. Even shoppers can't find a place to park at that zoo.

Question for the guys that have mods. Do you guys do the work yourself or have someone install/work on it? I ask because I've been wanting to find a good, reliable independent mechanic that doesn't charge dealer prices. I've done most of the work myself. However, I now live in a condo and space is an issue. Time has also been an issue. So when it comes time to jack up the car and such for rotation, suspension and brake work, I might need some help.

I've done most of the mods myself except for the tein ss suspension install, which I had done at shop in Arnold, HTP. I would definitely recommend them, they really know what they are doing. And they are a licensed Tein dealer, but the shop is kinda far away (44 & 141)
(I think Bleser had his suspension done there too)

I had a buddy who owns a shop in Florissant help me with the pulley install, but I wouldn't recommend using his shop...kinda low budget.

Up until recently, space was an issue for me too, so I had most of my minor stuff (oil changes, rotations, etc) done at the Firestone in Clayton...great service/mechanics, and not nearly as expensive as the dealer. I also got their lifetime alignment deal, which at $129 is def. worth it because I get one done just about every month.

...hope that helps!

With suspensions, I am a service writer for Quick Lane Auto, so I just have a mechanic here do it. I do most of the other stuff myself.

Sounds like the valley may be a better choice. Does anyone totally oppose it?

Yep, I had my suspension installed at HTP. Highly recommended.

As far as installations I would highly recommended HTP, Matt does awesome work. We could set a place in the valley we could all meet at. Like the parking lot right by target would work very well.

So where are we meeting, folks?

I think Chesterfield Valley is a good choice. There is a very large parking lot at the Chesterfield Galaxy theater, at the far end of the stretch. I think that's the best possible location. I am up for it on 11/11.

If I were to go for Tein SS coilovers at STP, how much can I expect to pay for parts & labor? Thanks!

Yeah plan to meet in Chesterfield Valley. As far as how much you can give them a call and Matt would be able to tell you how much you are looking at.

So we are going to meet in Chesterfield Valley in the parking lot farthest from the Galaxy Movie theatre. On November 11th at 2:00 pm.

Well, what I meant is that there is a huge parking lot right by the Galaxy theater. It's at the very west end of the strip, I believe--unless they have added on to the strip since I was last there earlier this year, which is a distinct possibility.

For those that don't know, Chesterfield Valley strip is about 1 mile long and full of parking lots, so if we don't specify which parking lot, it will be impossible to meet up.

I was thinking the lot right next to the Galaxy theater, at the end of the strip. However, if anyone thinks another lot is better, speak up!

Agreed, works for me. If we don't like what we see at the time we can move - sounds like there is a lot around there.

11/11 2:00 PM at the Galaxy Theatre.

I'd love to make it to the meet but am moving that weekend into my new house. I used to live in STL back in '99 and '00 in Maryland Heights. I just moved back to KC from Minnesota (4.5 yrs of the frozen north) so I'm not far away now. I have several friends that I need to visit in STL so maybe the next time you have a meet I'll be able to make a trip over.

Take pics of the meet!

Sounds good to me guys.

I'll be looking forward to the meet. If my number is still visible earlier in the thread, everyone please pick it up, gimme a call, txt, whatever that way I've got yours.

All I need is a more detailed set of directions to this place. I'm not good with Chesterfield, sorry.
