im not sure if anyone else started this, so ill go for it. lets start planning our spring meet before we host all cali. im shooting for april 4th possibly? our buddy 03 tls from e.g wants to come out as well. roger says we need go carts this time, guess he wants to get owned on the track . there are two local fun parks with decent go carts, hanford and visalia. lets get some input and opinions in so we can plan another great central cali meet

 

I vote Visalia... That way we can switch it up a bit.... INVADE A NEW VALLEY TOWN

oh yeah .... & I think th 4th might be too soon. why don't we try a few weeks after....

I'm just tryin to keep the meets at least a 6 weeks apart to avoid overkill... remember we wanna do this for years to come......

By all means if you wanna just get together to chill & have some beers, a mini meet is in order.

ok how about a mini meet/part install LOL like start it in the morning or so im avaliable april 4th and thats it April 11th there is a meet in sac april 18th presido meet in the bay area april 25th another meet.

whooo coool! What kind of paint do i need since you guys did the black out before....

 

I used high heat temp. black paint aka the engine cover paint. Roger got his professionally painted to color match his car but it didnt turn out so great so i think he might redo it.

 

Local wal mart? or auto parts store... I need to pick up some caliper paint too... You used flat back right im a newb to this painting stuff and I have to get some primier too right? for like my engine bay calipers and headlights?

 

Yeah if you want, you can get a can of clear coat too, to make it shinny! Your gonna be painting all those parts?

 

I dont know if im going to be painting them all that day. I was going to do the engine cover and the calipers here in EG if i dont get a chance i may just do it down there

 

I see. Well all you need for the headlight is high heat black paint, and silicon sealant in a tube or black rubber gasket in a tube. Needed to seal back the headlights.

To answer you question Brian my fogs are just the 9006 bulbs, I bought them from IDT shop in fresno itz on blackstone and shields, he sells them pretty cheap there. If you wants some let me know the size and i can ask him for you for the pricing.

i went to kragens today and all the had was red silver and black caliper paint kit, There is a huge import/american shop called tognottis in sac im going to there and see what colors they have. Plus i need gray heat resistant paint for the engine cover. and then dupli-color indoor outdoor flat black paint.. and some clear coat..

Im think im probably going to spend about 50 on paint

I would get that. Thats dope but out here in EG cops hate things that dont blink amber i dont want a ticket because then the ticket will keep adding up LOL. Front tint, headers with no carb number etc etc

 

Lol yeah I have the switchbacks, there just bulbs that you can order that has 48 LED built in on them. half is hyper white and the other half is amber. They cost about 50 bucks from vleds.com but you get like 8 dollars off for using the promotion code acurazine. so around 40 bucks for a pair. All you have to do is switch out the stock bulbs and put in the LEDs. Then itz done! Just remember to test to see if it works. haha
