If the car has lots of swirls and minor scratches, then it can be shine again, but if the car has clear coat failure or any paint defect (orange peel) then forget it.

It's not peeling or flaking off, but seems to scratch easily and can even be hand polished a bit with nothing more than a dry towel... After 20 years, I donno if there's any clearcoat left...
I'll snap a few pics and see what Mike has to say... sounds like he might be interested in using it for "the project" for the class. If the condition of the paint is salvageable that is. Doesn't really matter to me... but if I can contribute to the class and get a free polish/wax out of it or something then that's cool with me!
