checked up on my car today. its sanded down. masked off.

all the parts-to-be-replaced are taken off.
its just sitting there waiting for fedex/ups guys to bring in shipment for replacement parts. and after there its a two days work of putting it all together and sprayin new paint


ugh. i hate this. i have no patience.

I just drove through the route today and the 18th is also Earth day in Topanga Canyon! Whatever that is? Also worth mentioning is the construction a block before PCH on the Southbound side. There is quite a bit of gravel too as I got two new nicks going through. Anyone got CBP touch-up paint?

Oh by the way, that parking lot on the corner of Ventura/Topanga Cyn is always crowded by Starbuck's/Rite-Aid. Wouldn't the lot by Jerry's Deli be better?

As for the other points, gravel sucks, hopefully that will be cleaned up by then. And I agree that parking lot is always crowded as hell, but even the lot over by Jerry's Deli can get pretty packed as well...not sure what other options we have. Maybe the back corner of the Target lot on DeSoto?

The ralphs parking lot is right around the corner... Hella spots. There's also the mall which may be hit or miss since it's Saturday. I'll scope out the parking lot's this Saturday around noon and let you guys know what's up. If we need to I'll find an alternate spot...

How about the El Camino Shopping Center? It's on Valley Circle Blvd right off the 101. There is a Vons and McDonalds and the lot is huge. The good thing is that it's pretty wide open so even if were a little scattered, we can see fellow aziners.

 

I know what you're talking about. The question is does everybody else know. I suggested the supermarket around the corner or the Mall on Topanga because people would recognize it easily... Either way it sounds good. Ryan you're to coordinator so you got final say Eithe way I'll check out the spots on this saturday and let you guys know.

 

I mean the past meets/pre-cruise get togethers had always worked out just fine at the El Camino shopping center.

Thing is, Topanga I know the security may haggle us which has happened a few times so I don't want to take that risk.

The supermarket around the corner works too, but even that get's a little packed. I mean if the starbucks area get's full, it's not like they can't park..they will just have to park a few spaces down and before we head out we will give everyone a run down on the drive. Another reason starbucks works a bit better is because it's right next to Topanga canyon, a bit less chance of 20-30 of us to get separated by traffic lights.

 

true and its not like we are holding a meet at the lot so we arent goin to be staying that long. i say we stick with starbucks and when we get ready to go we'll park on the side of topanga to wait for everyone. i'll have the list in hand on the day of the meet to do a head count
