I'm ready for a meet too. We should try for the 1st or 2nd weekend in december so we don't compete with the holidays.

Early December is a good idea although a Friday or Saturday works better for me. We should get a drink and hang out somewhere. How bout The Ram down by the University district?

I'd prefer a weekend since I drive my company car during the week, and I usually don't leave work until 6 or 7 pm.

How about Saturday afternoon on the 11th?

Is there enough parking at the Ram for a half-dozen or so TSX's to park together (for photos)?

With the holiday season in full swing, this is probably not the best place since parking will be very tight in U-Village. I would recommend the Krispy Kreme/Home Depot parking lot in Issaquah as a meeting place. There should be plenty of parking and we can enjoy some donuts at the same time.

True but we can eat and get drinks there first and then go to mountlake parking lot which is huge or even drive right up to UW campus and take some pics. 11th works for me.

2:00 pm is much better for me (I've got a prior engagement at noon).

Shall we make it the Ram on Saturday at 2:00 pm, and then we'll caravan to another destination?

What do you say we vote? So Dec 11 around noon to 2pm at either

The Ram in U Village or Alki Beach

Guys, I just checked accuweather.com and we might get snow and rain during that week... Otherwise, Dec. 11th at Alki works for me.

Alki

My car will be in pieces but I am down for whatever. It would be badass to take pic's of our cars out on alki if it was snowing or windy, with the waves in the back ground.

Alki at 2:00pm sounds perfect! Better access than U District.

Well, are we going to come to an agreement, or just keep throwing out our ideas?

Will it be Alki on Saturday the 11th at 2:00pm, or what?

Let's stick with that. Seems like the most reasonable proposal for now.

I do miss Seattle - lived there in 96 and 97, had to move back to Motown for a promotion. Lived on Queen Anne and worked downtown -- damn, I miss the ski trips to Whistler.

I remember at the time I owned a '94 Accord EX-L 5spd Coupe - loaded every thing I owned in that car except for my couch and speakers. Drove from Detroit to Seattle in two days - this was back when Montana didn't have a daytime speed limit....coolest thing ever was passing state patrol cops while doing 110mph!

BTW - Fedlawman - your well written posts on Edmunds helped my decide on a TSX vs a Mazda6 a while back - thanks!

Wish I could be there...

PistonFan: who met his wife in Motown, but still wishes he lived in Seattle.

I moved here in 1997 and have worked in lower Queen Anne since then. I love Seattle too, and hope to be able to stay for a long, long time.

Both are fine cars, but of course I think you made the better choice!

Look me up if you ever find your way back here...
