I went last Sunday and I was very disappointed. I'm not even going to bother telling you my times. I've got a few problems with the car I need to get ironed out and I'll be back out there. Launching the 6-speed is going to take some practice btw.

Sorry to hear that. It's very possible that the track isn't quite up to specs yet. Don't worry about your times. I don't have to worry about shifting since I'm auto. Any time you get is more deserved than any of my times. I've seen countless modded SRT-4's and a few STI's run mid 15's so don't feel bad. I'm just very excited to see if the lighter wheels will lead to better times.

I wish I could go to the track and see what my TL would do w/ 20's. But, my wife is not really down with that. And she's 6 months pregnant, so I don't think pissing her off right now would be a good idea if you know what i mean. Maybe I can talk my brother into taking one of his cars down.

I like it man. I hate to pick at it.... but. Can you make the acurazine font look more authentic? Is this gonna be a full page, 8.5 x 11? I have Canon Photo Paper to donate. A new 50 sheet pack. It would be prefect for the placards you made.

BTW. Please pray for out TL. It's at Hinshaws to have the dash replaced. They gave us a Jaguar as a loaner. But I want the TL back. NOW!!

They're only 16 lbs a piece for the wheels. The Axis were 26-28 lbs. The Toyos are also a bit lighter than the Spec-2's were. I'd say I'm saving AT LEAST 15 lbs per corner. The thing sure lights up quicker with the new setup.

I was bored so I tinkered around with Illustrator a bit and made an alternate BW version of the tag. The logo doesn't use the right typeface though.


You definitely won't need color cartridges...

-Got the TL back today. Dash is on back-order for 3 weeks. They changed the brakes and rotors though. Not sure why. And the right rear door panel is new. My girl got a bit horsey with it on the freeway tonight. Tried to show me up (in the Civic) after dinner in Silverdale with some friends. I quickly showed her the "yeah right" pedal. The TL is quick for being stock though. I reckon the Civic would stomp it in a quarter mile

-That new placard looks tremendous. I dig. We should use a red or blue Sharpie to fill in the info. Nice work fellas!!
