Paintball Anyone? OC/LA peeps
so... I'm looking for more people to paintball with... the guys I usually play with are from the Infiniti FX forum... I like them, they're cool guys an all... but lately they keep picking fields that are just too damn far (Santa Clarita area)... So, I figure I turn to the AZ community... Let me know if anyone is interested in going or trying out the sport... it's fun as hell... most people that try it, get hooked. Maybe we can get a once a month thing going(?)...

I'm down for whatever... I'm more geared for speedball/Xball... but I don't mind scenario either... You're in La Habra... do you ever go to "The Pit" in Whittier?

whats the difference? Ken how much would it cost?? I don't have any gear or anything either. I used to airsoft, so im guessing it should be pretty much same thing?

I have an extra gun you can use, a relatively new mask, pods and belt/holster to put the paintballs in...
the price for the day ranges anywhere from $25-$35 (and thats including air refills...) And paintballs... the gun I'd let you use wouldn't really require too expensive of paint... so think another $35 for a case (2000 balls). If there are any left overs... you can store them for next time... but most people use about a case a day (at least), I go through about 1.5 case and I'm pretty conservative...

shit, i'd probably use wayyy more than 1 case. When airsofting I used ~ 3 2000 .20G bb's per day.

^^^I take it back... I was wrong about the difference between speedball and xball... sorry...they're actually very similar...

yeah, it's new... It's a small privately owned field... good for 3 v 3 or 5 v 5... and nothing more... $25 admission and includes all day air... a lot of local teams practice there on Sundays...
oh, and it's in the city of MONTEBELLO NOT Whittier.

I was at the local paintball shop... and struck up a conversation with the manager, and turns out they got a list going of a bunch of people for SC Village on Feb. the 22nd (Sunday), I'm going for sure unless it's still raining... I guess it'll be a private group which is cool... because admission and air will only be $25 (which I believe is $10 cheaper). Let me know if you're interested, pm me your full name and number, because I think you need to be on the list to get in on the group price.
