Jurp. To help you guys out....

This Friday, the 17th, is a "mini-meet" at Cary Towne Center Mall. There are going to be some members from CRSX and the NC State Car Club. Meeting up at 6:00pm at the Food Court Parking Lot.

May 2nd at noon is the official Raleigh/Durham Acurazine Meet in Raleigh.

Sorry for the confusion.

I wish I could come but I pretty much have a yellow car with no place to wash it.

I will defiantly have it read for the 2nd though.

You should have came anyways...not all of the cars were in showroom perfect condition.

It was a damn good turnout though, 20 maybe 25 cars. Whole bunch of RSX's and a few other tuners (SRT4, 350Z, 240SX's, Teg's, etc.). A whole bunch of nice ass people out there (I can't stand people at car meets that think they are the shit and are better than everybody else out there). BoBByLiGhT83 and I were the only two TL's on here that attended, but there was a NBP TL lowered on chrome RJ Inspyre's. I didn't have a chance to talk with the guy, but I don't think he's here on Acurazine. Here's a pic of his TL:

The crowd of cars:

Sweet mall security...old ass lady.

I'm hoping the weather for our meet on the 2nd will be as nice as it was today!

Don't worry my car will be all clean for the 2nd.

Remember a few pages back when I said I saw a black TL with a painted grille? That was the one I was talking about. It is very nicely done. The weather is beautiful so lets hope that it can last.

Yea the black TL looks good, but the grill isn't color matched...it's a flat black, not glossy. He's dropped on springs and that's all I know about it.

Today's has been even nicer. I went to Smithfield with my girlfriend to the Polo Outlets and shit like that...had the windows down the whole time

So I had a thought today as I was sitting around on my somewhat day off. A pre-stage for the meet at Hooters or Buffalo Wild wings would be a good idea. Give a chance for the guys coming from out of town to meet up somewhere and then we could all ride out together downtown to the parking deck. Let me know what you guys think that way I can get something set up. Maybe meet up around 11 or so.. Might have to push back the meet from 12 to 1 if we do it..

Yea I mean I'm down for whatever the hell everybody else wants to do. Instead of changing the time and confusing everybody, we could keep it for 12 and get late lunch at 2 or 3 so people can go if they want or come with us. Just an idea. I'm open to anything.

Sounds like a great idea.

I would consider that more of a Friday night thing or maybe after the meet though. We have already told a lot of people 12 so lets not have someone show up when nobody is their.

Well yall just tell me where to meet up and I'll be there. We don't even have to decide now...we can talk about it at the meet and then call ahead wherever we decide to go.

I'm not in downtown Raleigh too often but does anybody know of a restruant that we could go to after the meet around the parking garage we are meeting up at? I would suggest Hooters off of Airport Blvd (I think it's off of that road), but it's a good drive from downtown and I don't want people getting lost haha.

Either is fine with me. I'm not hearing any input from anybody else, so I guess you should go ahead and make it official. One of those 2 places. Maybe around 3 since the meet starts at 12 and people can come and go whenever the hell they want. I just need an address incase I get seperated from the pack.

Funny story about this parking garage...

So me and my friend Cole, (cd_aspec) that is going to the meet on the 2nd, and I decided to check out the parking garage where it will be going down. It's super nice, the only thing is that it's brand new, so there is mad dust everywhere. I washed my car the day before, and after my trip to the top of the deck, my rear window was foggy with dirt and dust, so be sure to bring some cleaning stuff.

Him and I break out the cameras and all start snapping pics. We move the cars around and shit and are up there for probably 30 minutes or so. We get ready to leave and my car won't start. When I crank it, it makes a horrible ticking noise and a loud hum. All of my indicator lights on my dash light up and my interior lights flicker. We tried jumping it and somehow it didn't work. We tried for 20 minutes.

I call AAA and I tell the lady that I'm on top of a parking deck. She tells me that she doesn't think a tow truck will fit in the low clearance of the deck and so me, Cole, and his friend put my car into neutral and push it down the 6 story car park. Cole's girlfriend drives his car behind us down the car park. Of course there are no power brakes or steering so Cole is cranking the wheel over and mashing the brakes. Cole is the lightest out of the 3 of us, so he is in the drivers seat, and me and his friend Corey are pushing the car. After 2 stories down, we had enough momentum to hop in the car and ghost ride it down to the bottom where shortly the tow truck met me outside. Turns out my battery died and something was wrong with my alternator and my starter. It's all fixed now, but of course all of that shit had to happen when I was in downtown Raleigh at 1 in the morning on top of a damn parking garage.

I just thought I would share that with everybody since we will all be meeting up there next weekend.

Haha thanks. When I first tried to crank it, I was really pissed off. But once we started pushing it down the garage, I started to laugh. It was so random and so funny 3 guys pushing this huge ass car 6 stories down.

Shit happens though. I'm just glad it's fixed and driveable. At first I thought it was more than a dead battery since all of my lights, radio, and stuff still worked, so I kept saying "it's time for my KBP Type-S" hahaha.

^^ Damn bro, that sucks.. Funny, but sucks at the same time.. When did you go out there? I stopped in there last night on the way back from Rockingham just to check it out again. Did you go to the parking deck across the street from the convention center or the one right next to it?? The one across the street is 8 stories, the other is 6

So I am afraid I won't be able to come after all. My last exam was on may 5th however I took the early version which means my last exam is now on the 1st. I would stay an extra day but since I have so much stuff my dad is coming to help me move out. Have fun anyway guys.

Damn dude that sucks you can't make it...but it's totally understandable why you can't. We will be sure to post a lot of pics of the meet so you can check out the rides.
