Official Raleigh/Durham Meet**May 2nd**
It's finally time to get Raleigh/Durham and surrounding area AZ members together for a meetup.. It's going down May 2nd at 12pm in Downtown Raleigh. We'll be meeting at the top of the brand new parking deck on the corner of W Cabarrus and McDowell St. The address is 200 W Cabarrus St, Raleigh, 27601. Hopefully the weather will be nice.
Look forward to meeting everyone...
P.S.. At first this was going to be limited to TL and TSX owners, but upon further consideration I'm open to all Acura owners who want to join.

I'm not sure if there is a fee to park. Knowing my previous experiences in downtown Raleigh, I highly doubt there will be, but don't quote me on that.

I see you guys have most of your mods listed in your sigs, but I was wondering what you other guys have that haven't listed them.
Yes I go to NC State. I have a blue RSX that looks pretty much stock from the outside, minus a small drop I have. I've been more focused on the "go modifications".

Awesome I have probably seen it around campus. Hopefully yours is the one with the dent in it. 
As far as avatars go just go into "your account" and that should be one of the options. You should be able to see everyone's profile however you have to have at least 30 (might be 25) posts before you can PM.
Oh and I got the a mod (thanks GM) to sticky the thread for us.

Well unlike some people on this forum, I went for more aesthetic mods for my car instead performance mods. If I would have manned up and gotten the 6 speed, I would have done straight performance, but I got the 5AT so I wanted to make this kind of a crusier and flashy car, but not over done. All of my mods are in my signature. CAI is the only thing I have done to my engine and then I have a bunch of other random little shit.
I've been saving up to get a full coilover suspension this summer (TEIN SS), but I just recently quit my job, so I've gotta roll around like a 4x4 for a little longer

well I hope you get it on before then...and as for my car, I've just done exterior stuff as well so far. like de-badging, tinted tails and side markers, and the fact that it is an A-spec. The previous owner also put TL-S wheels on there which is kind of weird but I think it looks pretty good

As for my car its stock for now. Over the summer when I plan on getting TL-S rims and 02-03 taillights. The rims I am not sure about yet but at least the the taillights.

at least we have more to talk about than our beloved cars I have a few friends that stay in University Towers near state and they like it, but they said it gets pretty wild in there. I'm not sure if that's a good or bad thing though. But being in college, I'm sure its a good thing.
As for going to State for your first year, I'm not sure how I feel about that. I go to Wake Tech and I love it. Granted, it looks better going to State for the full 4 years instead of transferring, but I'm taking pretty much the same classes offered by state and mine are only $180 each
. Considering I don't really have any idea what I want to major in, it's nice taking cheap classes and not being forced to decide what my major is so I get the correct classes and credits within 4 years. I guess I'm more worried about cost since I have to pay for my tuition and books 
.I was on State campus today with my girlfriend and I saw a tan 01 CL-S. Had some chrome aftermarket rims and the OEM rear spoiler and that's all I could see. Anybody know this guy?
Also, I was hoping to have my car slammed on the ground before the next meet (20's + stock suspension = 4x4. 4x4 TL = fail.) but I just quit my job of 4 years so I could focus on school, so between payments and gas and shit, I can't afford to do anything else to my car for a whileee. It sucks, but my job was getting annoying as hell, so I gave that shit the kick to the curb.

University Towers is great if you have roommates that are cool. I lived there for a year with terrible roommates and suit mates and it ruined my experience. My brother is there now and has been for two years and love it due to his cool friends there.
NC State is a great school. I graduated in 2008 in Biochemistry and I am now there doing graduate school work. Cant wait to meet up with you guys, I should be able to help ya out in this course work plan discussion.

yea I know the 3 other guys that I'm staying with and they are all really cool, so hopefully it will work out. and yea I'm actually going to try and focus on my schoolwork so hopefully it won't be too wild

You will love the 2G TL-S rims. Before my TL, I had a 01 CL-S and I loved the wheels. If the car didn't have so many miles, I wouldn't have gotten rid of it, but the TL had less than half as many miles on it, so I swapped it them out.

I stayed in Tucker my freshmen year which was okay. The walls where paper thin so I didn't get much sleep. Whatever you do make sure to make a lot of friends in your dorm. If not join a club of some kind.
The FYC class is total bunch of busy work but it will be the easiest A you ever make. Any idea what you want to major in?

Very true. I'm doing the same with my rims/tires. I'm going to ride around on my aftermarket ones until I need new tires and then slap the stockies back on for a while haha.

I was at State again today and I was in the parking garage right next to Reynolds Coliseum, and there was a blue RSX with black aftermarket wheels, exhaust, and blacked out headlights with halos in them. Any ideas?
