I noticed no one on the list had another TSX. Was hoping to see more so i can get some ideas. Hopefully there will be a few there.
I went to Nopi last year, but did not have the car then.

We are waiting to hear from Glenn on parking- if he can hook us up we have to be there eaaaaaaaaaarly so we can get to the gate by 7 am.

Now for the good news: For those who were at NOPI 2006, you will remember the Drift area??? Hopefully you remember the MAXXIS rig and the Drift pit area?

That road is 255' long and 50' wide, it is all for Acurazine.

This road will be between the Elite Section and the GM Section, just above the IASCA area, NICO, and Speed For Sale.......

Yeah do will all need to be there at 7? If so, we need to meet really early then. If we don't all have to be there, then we will still need a couple of people to get to the raceway and set up. I have a feeling we'll all have to be there early to get our spot, but let me know. I guess we do need to get a list of stuff together for us to bring.

SSNTL01- yea I was hopeing to be with you guy. I did ask Ron who he had in his booth but havn't got a response back. Also am I the only CL sign up with everyone?

One other question - since I registered a day late they said I would have to pick my tickets up at the gate. Does any one else have to do this? Where is it? How early should I get there? Help from someone who has done this would be greatly appreciated. Thanks Clinton

 

I would ask glenn (nopiguy) about this. If you cant roll in with us we can always save a spot for you. You are the only CL and im the only 2nd gen TL..together we are the red headed step children

 

I still don't know why I haven't gotten my credentials yet, but I've already PM'ed NOPIGUY to see what's going on. If I have to pick it up at will call, then you won't be the only one, foreveraflboy. I just hope the line won't be too long if we're going to be there by 7.

Just in case you didn't already know, you can pick up at will call on Friday too

 

I will be bringing a very small charcoal grill, and some charcoal and a pack of 30 hot dogs, but we will probably need another grill. I just picked it up at walmart for $10. I'm also bringing a 12ft x 9ft screened canopy. I will also have a medium size cooler as well. I have a couple of folding tailgate type chairs as well as a couplr of extra ones for a couple of people to use.

Weather looks kind of iffy 84 w/ 30% chance of rain on Saturday, and 60% chance on Sunday.

 

dang this will be the first year since before 2001 that it rains during the weekend of the show. Traditionally it's been fair weather and everyone ends up with farmers tans!

 

I don't know about the rest of the country, but in Michigan if it says 30% chance of rain-it won't.

I'm praying for NO rain!

 

Let's just hope the forecast is wrong . . . just like it had said that it would rain this Sunday.

For will call tickets on Friday, does anyone know how soon they'll open the gate to get your credentials? I know that it stops at 7PM and I just need to get out of work before rush hour traffic kicks in.

 

Ty i figured you had gotten your credentials in the mail by now. I just got mine today, and i registered on the last day you could recieve them through the mail. Even with the possibility of rain, i'm still looking forward to the show regardless.

 

Yeah, I thought I would've at least had gotten it by yesterday or even last week since I had registered early. I just don't trust this complex for important stuff. That's why I usually have things shipped to my job.

i got my crudentials today..so whats the plan guys? Im debating on whether or not to come friday night or saturday morning...pay $100 and be rested or save it and wake up at 5:00 am saturday.

 

I'm coming in on Thursday night. Give me a chance to do the touristy thing and detail my car on Friday.

 

How are we going to do the cruise down to the place if we have to be there by 7AM? I assume that it'll be at least a 45 min drive from where I'm at to NOPI Nationals. I'm going to be picking up my credentials Friday around 3PM if we have to be down there early. Zac, can you tell me where that gate is located? Is it inside the track or outside where you buy general admission tickets?

 

I doubt that you'll get there nearly on time leaving from Alabama and waking up at 5 am. Traffic is always next-level in the whole AMS area Saturday morning. I might leave my house in Decatur, GA around 5:30 am just to be sure. I could normally get there in about half an hour.
