I'd meet up on the Avenue that night if people are going (DPA) but I don't want to drive into Queens. (Sorry)

Let's see what'll go down...keep me updated!

Not scared, I dunno. I am more confortable on roads that I know (areas I know) and Queens I don't. I'm a long island chickie!

PLUS I have a bar-be-que to be at in Commack all day/evening - (it's a work-thing, my entire office), so I have to show. I'll prolly have a few drinks...ya know how it is. The Avenue is close. Queens is far.

Get my drift?

Rent a car for the night...you can rent some exotic ones in the city if you fly in....that could be ill! What do you think?!

Yeah I definitely think this weekend will be a wash-out...next weekend I'm moving into my mom's friend's house to baby-sit her kids, so I can't do anything, so if this weekend is no good...then there's not much I can do I suppose...

I ran up to the avenue around 10:30 tonite, just took a quick lap to see what was goin' on up there...NADA. A few bikes, some cars, although not as many as I expected. I was honestly too tired to stick around. We should definitely do a DPA meet one night over the weekend this summer. It really gets quite crazy...just have to beware of the po-lice.

What do you guys think?! Any takers?

club

Hi Everyone,

I used to be the president and the founder of the Tristate MR2 Club. Since being so busy, i got out of the car scene. Banging around in a old 97 TL now and days. Cames across this forum, brought back some good memories. I think it would be a great idea to start a honda/acura sedan club. I came back from Japan not long ago, they had a acura sedan club called Secret Service, it was real something. I am running a shop right now as well, so figure maybe we can start doing group buys too.

Anyone interested?

Give me a shout.

Mike

Welcome Mike! Give us some details about your shop as well as your former car, i used to hang with a bunch of NYIMOC people when my boy had his 91 MR2. For now there's a meet scheduled this saturday 6/21. We will meet at Deer Park Ave then convoy to Westhampton to Li motorsports park.

Meet Details Here

My old car was a white MR2 TD06 + NOS, Greddy everything. Ask the NYC MR2 guys, they must know me.

Shop, you can visit www.GTspec.com

I am planning to setup this club asap, complete with website, membership discounts such as group buys and discounts on OEM and aftermarket parts. Help me spread the word.

Thanks,

Mike
