So when are the NOVA meets going to be and where???

 

We need an open lot where we can line the cars up....Anyone have a nice office building parking garage we can go to? My building has one but security is strict and I don't think they will allow.

 

There are a bunch of them in the the Reston Town Centre area. My SAIC building has an upper deck that is always open on the weekends, not to many people around.

 

I am down for a meet after just let me know when. I can't do the 2nd week in October.

 

That sounds good to me! How about the first weekend of October (Oct 8), how does that sound to everyone?

 

This would be my first meet with the TL guys but I can't do the weekend of the 9th. The last week of September into October would be good for me.

We should do a last minute one this weekend if anyone is available to maybe ride around and scout out a good spot if for some reason my building can't work out, although I don't see why not. They never have security driving around

 

The MEGA MEET will be back at the Woodbridge VDOT lot at the intersection of I95 and Rt123 on October 1st from 7:30pm to 11:00pm. Instead of asking for a $1.00 to get in, we will be asking for 1 non-perishable food item that we will be donating to the Fredericksburg Food Bank for the victims of Katrina. The Fredericksburg Food Bank staff will be at the lot with their truck to collect the items during this meet. Please feel free to bring more than one non-perishable food item if you would like because every little bit helps. But please understand that the Fredericksburg Food Bank can only accept non-perishable items. If you forget to bring an item or just don't want to, a $1 donation is still being accepted to get into the lot. Our goal is to show how much the youth/car enthusiast groups in the Mid Atlantic Region care for others around us. Lets make it a huge meet by passing the word along and collect a lot of itmes for the victims of Hurricane Katrina.

Thanks for the reminder Steve, unfortunately the TL / CL representation has been poor the last few meets. The last one I went to was only myself and two other TLs We need to breath some new life into this group!

 

Sometimes when I got I just ride with the RSX crew. I don't always take my car.

 

This date will work for me. I can't do Oct 1st, i must attend one of my boy's weddings.... ...i warned him.

 

Ok, how about the last weekend in Sept (the 24th)? This looks like more people will be able to make it if we hold a meet this weekend. Does this work for everyone???

 

The meet has to include dinner or drinks or something. I'm tired of going to meets and standing around in the parking lot

 

Last weekend on 24th is GOOD! I am going to drop off my car this Saturday on 17 to get the first recall OR updates to be fixed on my 05. So no go for this weekend.

Need more TLs! Cmon guys, I see at least 20 ~ 30 TLs a day when I commute to Reston, gotta make this big!

 

Same here....on my commute to Sterling on the 267 toll....we probably've passed by each other a day or two.

 

Yeah..prolly, I'm on 267 around 7:45 ~ 8 something depending on the day.
You should be able to locate me easily cuz there are few Anthracite with A spec and tint. If you see one..thats prolly me. Please dont chase me...I am safe driver

 

So if this happens where is it gonna be? I work weekends and need to take off in advance. Might change in the future..still lookin for my full time since I graduated college this pass may.
