No one PM'ed me.. :'(
..heh, anyways.. just a lil' suggestion - all IL people that plan on heading up to this meet should get in touch with each other to try to find a meeting point so that we could all take a cruise together to the meet.
So far, the only other IL person I have talked with is Louie11 who I believe is attending the meet. I do have a couple ideas on where we could all meet before heading up to WI, so if it ain't too much trouble ..could all the IL people that plan on attending the meet please PM me. :P

80mph isn't an issue for me.
95mph in a TSX is a recipe for 17mph :p
I have an 8500 and it doesn't do crap for laser and the 3 cars hidden on the ramp behind the cop with the laser riffle on the overpass.

I mean, if no one is on the road there is no reason for not going 95mph. Actually the only reason is that there wont be a warning from the V1 about some other car up front, getting hit by the radar/laser gun. However, when there is close to no one on the road, and the road is straight, 95mph in a CLS, in any Acura, is not a dangerous speed at all. For Europeans it's a cruising speed in 1.5L cars, come one guys

So it looks like I might not make it up to wisconsin this weekend. Im debating if I want to drive up there or not. Getting the oil change in mcgrath acura in oakbrook (its almost at 5000 miles since my last one so its kinda urgent) and supposedly my cousin is comming down to visit so we'll see. Keep me posted on whos driving up and when from chicago and maybe I'll go up for a day.

NEW INFO: There is about a 30% chance for rain early on Sat. I don't think this will affect the meet, so we're still on at this point. The only change is that we'll meet at the park and hang out for awhile. When we get hungry, we'll relocate to my house for lunch so that we can grill, etc. and be covered if it should sprinkle again. Plus the park will be somewhat wet in the grass, etc.
In case of late arrivals, we'll be hanging at the park for awhile (whether permitting), but if you miss us, feel free to call my cell at (414)759-6507 for directions to my house.
Also, Mr. Chad and I have discussed the race on Sunday and have decided to skip that event. No one else had an interest so far and we both have other events that we want to attend. I hope this doesn't affect anyone, but let me know if it does...

But 95mph is insane, seriously, I could easily drive 95 with complete control in most any car. It's the other 4-million idiots that scare the P*** out of me. That and the reckless ops ticket. I've been to IL driver safety school I don't need a repeat.
That said the twit doing 45-50mph in the 55-65mph zone needs banished like NOW! I'd say my no.1 complaint I have of other drivers is failure to yield the left lane.

Hey, all. Just a quick reminder that anyone who wants to drink alcohol at the party and has specific tastes should BYOB. I have Miller and also some stuff for mixed drinks. I'll also be doing pitchers of Margaritas, so that's a lot of beverage.
But, I know some people, myself included, like particular drinks.
As for food, I've got black angus burgers, brats and dogs; several desserts and dips, etc. (I like to eat well )
Sounds like a party to me. Let's hope the rain ends in time or at least lets up for the park portion!!
