Just a reminder that if for some reason you could not attend this class, please let me or Mike P (at Meguiar's forum) know asap so others on the waiting list can bump up and attend this class. Thanks!

You gotta go to this link: http://www.meguiarsonline.com/forums...ad.php?t=15864 and post the reply there to be official on the standby list.

but first you need to register in Meguiars website: http://www.meguiarsonline.com/forums/register.php?s=

Please wash the car if you want your car to be pick for demonstration of removing swirls and scratches (preferred dark color car, best is black) or if you have any paint defect that you want Mike to look at. For others, you can wash the car if you want, but not necessary.
From what I seen at other class, this is what will happens:
* We dont' have time to remove scratches/swirls on all car that attend the class, so there will be one or two car that will get the most attention for demonstration (dark color prefered black with lots of swirls).
**If you have other paint defect (not normal scratches/swirls), then you can ask for opinion on how to remove them, and maybe if Mike has time, he can correct for you too.
***At the very least, please wash the car before coming. Light dirt on the car due to on the way to the class is ok, but not months old with no wash. What we will do is to clay the car by everyone (good opportunity to learn for those who hasn't clay before), then demonstration of correct technique to remove light scratches and swirls both by hand and by DA (again, good opportunity to learn how to use the DA for those who hasn't do it before on someone else car )
****Once we get the technique down, we can do on our own car (usually from 2:00pm to 4:00ish)

Again, just to remind eveyone who sign up for the class to make sure that you come. If for some reason that you could not attend, please let me or Mike Phillips (Meguiars forum) know in advance so others on standby list can have a chance to attend.

See eveyone there this Saturday!

Hey guys,

Unless if there's Armageddon, I'll be attending the class this Saturday.

I don't know the rules too much, but if the Mods let this slide a little bit, I'll appreciate it. There is a set of 19x8.0'' Axis TC EVO, +45 offset, 5x114.3 bolt with Toyo Proxes FZ4 225/35/19 with just under 200 miles that I am selling for a friend. If one of you guys is interested in buying for $1,250, I could bring the set with me.

I also don't want to clutter this thread, so please PM me if you are interested. I also have a set of '03 Type-S wheels with stock tires that I can bring to the class if no one is interested in the other set for $500.

If you want pictures, please search in the black market. Please don't tease me, only if you are seriously going to buy, then I will bring a set with me to the class in my car. PM me, don't reply here, thanks.

Guys, I just learn that "Derrick" (one of AZ moderator) will visit SoCal (Anaheim area) on Dec. 2nd (afternoon) to the 8th on an business trip. I think we can greet him and his girlfriend right after the Meguiars class and hang out at Downtown Disney or the Block for dinner. What do you guys think?

Wow, you're coming from San Diego to the class? How long is the drive?

Wouldn't a cruise to SD be a little late anway, considering the class won't end until 3 or 4ish?

there are three of us driving up. it's really easy and fast actually. it only takes about an hour and fifteen to get up to OC. so you OC guys should have an easy drive if you decide down to SD county for a meet!

In few other class I attended, there are people from other state fly over to attend the class!

Oh, FYI the person who drive the most distance to the class will usually get extra prize, but not guarantee. Just ask "aznbo187". He got free BIG bottle of car wash shampoo!

See the rest of you guys this Sat!

I'm just speechless at this moment. To fly from another state to attend the class, that is freakin' dedication and love for one's vehicle.

What I'm hoping to learn from this class is the fine art of removing swirl marks, as I have a ton of. I always use Megiuar's car products, and now I'm actually going to visit them first hand on a lesson of professional detailing. I would be remiss if I didn't attend to witness in person.

Hey Time For Sleeep, don't you mean Saturday?
