mine is close to stock. i'm saving my pennies for my other fun toy. origially had planned on rims and bodywork but i think that'll go towards my r6 
i'll keep the TL pretty practical and not mess with it too much. good to know at least i'm not the only one running stock :-p

mann...its now 5:45....they are prolly like 15-20 ac's just cruisin right now to jones beach or prolly there already..damn im boredd at work....hope everyone is safe so far

meet was awesome, had a little race going on while heading back home which was fun...
nice too meet all of you guys. we should have one meet come up soon for summer or when weather gets warmer so we can have bbq at a nice park...

hi im new to this forum i dnt have a tl but my pops got one and i love it i would of went but i didnt know about this meet until it was to late but i got a ques is n e body gonna be goin to tobayfest tomarrow at 12pm?

I for one wont be able to make it to the Tobayfest tomorrow..from what i heard it was on lock down and some lots werent open...somthing of that sort plz verify before you go...
Also guys that went to the meet lets hear what happened..where u guys went and who raced who and how many ended up showing up????

i raced the black 2005 Tl 4-A-TL-B i think and lets just say that i won lol... it was from a roll fron like 65ish i think... ill let him tell the rest and his side... good meet tho it was a lot of fun

lol! i wont forget blasting down the highway with (sorry, i forgot who's who) the blue TL, black TL and the TSX and then having the late 80's vette start racing with us. we got

It was a fun meet. Guys who didn't come man u missed out but theres always next time. Hey jus wondering isn't there like a holiday coming up. GOOD FRIDAY. Don't know if it is but i was thinkin nice weathr in april Lets mayb get a better one

sry if im jacking this thread but did n e body go to tobay?, or should i say captree cause the porshce club woulndt let us in i only say about three or four acura tls and a couple of rsxs and one or two tsxs(or tl didnt get a good look) i was in a blue tl type s with an L.I extreme sticker on the rear windsheild..my car(i mean the pops car) was parked next to a small bunch or rsxs cause we couldnt find any acuras...

haha you do know that if cops want they can give you a ticket for driving with a permit in NY even if you are with a parent or some one over 21 right? You cant drive with a permit in NY but some cops make an exception to that rule.

I just got past this whole phase lol
You can drive with your permit by your self only in specific counties (upstate). The 5 boroughs you cannot drive with your permit by your self .. no exceptions. In LI you can also never drive by your self with a permit. But of course if you get pulled over with a permit, some cops will tell you to go straight home.
If you do want to drive by your self, you need to get a juniors lisence, class DJ.. and then you will be able to drive by your self to and from work ... and school for school related after school activites (not to school in the morning), and also you cannot drive from 9pm to 7am. Once again if you get pulled over going somewhere not mentioned above, you could get a ticket, or get off the hook.
and of course if you get a D lisence, you can drive when/where ever you please MUST BE 18 in boroughs, can be 17 in LI and Upstate with certain drivers ed requirements.
I got into an accident when i had my juniors, and i was with some friends in the middle of the night, and the cop gave me a ticket, and i had to go see the judge :-( , good thing i completed my drivers ed a few weeks before, and i took my new lisence into court and i was in the clear.
but hey its up to you, i remember the days i used to sneak my moms car out when i had my permit ... just dont do anything stupid !!!
