Almost forgot, here's the drop, we took more but we had shaky ass hands:
I'll take some more this week with John and George when I have my wheels on.

Got em for $650 off a friend, they're brand new, he had an AV6 coupe but then the tranny blew and it took them 7 months to ship him his wheels, got there after he sold his car and into his E46 M3. That rich bastard.

hey eddie.. would it be a good idea to drop my car to the lowest point it could go without rubbing, then getting some of that suspension tuning from your friend? i have about 1.5 finger gap on all four wheels.. i was thinking of dropping to 0 finger gap. it will improve looks, and hopefully performance? what do you think?

Remember this...the lower your drop your car the more things will break......now there is a breaking point of how low any drop should be......for example on my car I asked how far can I go before I start breaking things and there is a point......
I have JIC flt02 coilvers and there is still a gap for me..........so depending on what kind of suspension you have such as true coilovers or just shocks and springs......if you just have shock and springs then the shock will blow out quicker as you drop the car lower....... and never cut springs........if you cut your springs you are compromising the suspension.........I understand that you want that tucked look but I guarantee you you will blow your shocks eventually and you may have to replace axles here and there........if you are willing to do these things such as replace shocks and axles here and there then drop it like that............best thing to do is first figure out what kind of suspension you will use then try to make the best use out of them, so there is always a tradeoff .......
here is a honda/acura expert you can talk to tommorrow.....his name is jon martin service manager of southbay acura at 310-539-3636.......jon is the master of cars and mods..........tell him what kind of suspension you are running and how low you plan to go............and he will then tell you what will happen depending on your scenario.....also he can look at your car for you and fix it.........good luck buddy

well with used stuff you have to really examine it and test it if possible.........not all used stuff is bad but just remember if you buy something like used shocks you should know its probably almost have its life used up............and theres certain engine parts you do not want to buy used (waterpump, belts, clutch)..........but everything else wheels, springs (uncut), seats, accessories(shift knobs, pedals etc), mufflers (if there is no cracks, leaks, and baffle is not blown out), bodyparts, etc used is fine........they are non moving parts..........
just with heavily used electronics, moving engine parts, and stuff like shocks you should stay away from........ there is so much good used stuff out there......you guys are lucky growing up with sites like ebay...........when I was in the import scene when the dinosaurs roamed the land ........
we did not have ebay or too many choices of knock off stuff (if any existed).......its either buy the real brand name stuff or you mess with the stock stuff.... (ie cut springs)...........now you can buy this knock off stuff or even the real stuff used in abundance............i remember the one piece headlights were like $1000.00, now you can get that for like $250 or less
hehe well at least you guys understand what to kinda look for now......and now you guys can always turn to jon for help.........

^ yeah i guess you're right.. xP
but I drive an acura CL, and they dont make anything for it. if i wanted a CF part, i would have to do a GB so that the price is cheaper haha. otherwise, i'd have to pay for mold + part, which is $3000 !!!!

Yeah you car is one of those cars where they dont make a lot of stuff for since the demand and profit margine is low.........so just keep you car simple and clean(rims, full exhuast, airfilter, accesories such as pedals, mirror, shiftknob maybe and a little upgrade in audio and call it a day......no need to fast and furious that car out...........save your $3000.00 thats not worth to pay for a cf part.......i rather spend the 3000 on rims.......
