No we're fine Jessie. Thats only for vehicles registered in IL. Even if you don't meet WI state laws (which I believe is 50F 35R and what I have on the bimmer) they can't ticket you cuz its the responsibility of the state your car is titled/registered in.

but if u get a ticket, they just make you goto court and proof you removed the tints.

i've never gotten any other kind of tickets. i have pics to proof this everytime.

..they're going to be strict in certain places and some places are gonna be the same. I have nothing to worry about in my town as I have a couple free-pass cop cards I carry around.. though I can't say the same if I drive outta my town but whatever, hopefully I dun get rolled for it again. /knocks on wood.. Those tint detectors aren't a joke. They carry that up to the car, and and when you role your window down they slide it on to check it. 2 days after i got my car i went to Virginia and got a nice 50 dollar ticket. I told the cop, i just bought the car 2 days ago, and he said tough luck... I was furious!!!! I'm hoping to come up the weekend when you guys have the meet. it's such a long/boring drive...

i know i heard about that, i still need the eye doctor so he/she can write me a form and i get get the plate. if i do get the plate its gonna read "STOCK wt".

well honestly if they do that then its illegal. They can't pull you over and write you a ticket solely for having tints... if they pull you over for speeding or something I'm sure they might give you shit for it but if its legal in WI, and your car is plated and registered in WI then there is nothing they can do LEGALLY. I'm sure they could try to write you a ticket for that but it would get thrown out in less than a second in court. They probably would just hope you didn't know any better and just paid it.

Yup, Mr. Chad and I have organized two meets in Milwaukee in previous years that were fantastic. Great photo opportunities by the lake and museum at the first plus a nice picnic at the lake and then the most recent one, we met at the park in a huge lot and then I invited everyone over to my place for a party. We had food, drinks, music..that's how we do a meet in Mil-town!
